If you're fine watching it with them in small doses, maybe, but never unsupervised until they reach about 15 and understand that it is full fantasy with no real world applications. If you absolutely must go with shounen tho i'd recommend a more child friendly show like pokemon or digimon or even dragonball z as the upper limit. This are some of the anime's that i know that might be qualified for your 7 yr. Anime seen on the cartoon network (or other channels that show children's cartoons) before 9pm is probably safe for most children younger than 13.
